About IOCOSE
IOCOSE are a collective of four artists and have been working as a group since 2006. IOCOSE’s art investigates the after-failure moment of the teleological narratives of technological and cultural development, in regards to both their enthusiastic and pessimistic visions. They have been exhibiting internationally at several art institutions and festivals, including Venice Biennale (2011, 2013), Tate Modern (London, 2011), Science Gallery (Dublin, 2012) Jeu de Paume (Paris, 2011), FACT (Liverpool, 2012), Transmediale (Berlin, 2013, 2015), and featured in publications such as Wired magazine, The Creators Project, Flash Art, Neural, Liberation, Der Spiegel, El Pais.

Simple relationships between visual and sound rendering, corresponding to Movements.By defining this relationship, create a Sounds object that can be ’communicated’ with Movements and Visual.Focus on the activity of presenting motion while sounds triggered. The combination of these different medium can lead to different layers of interaction between sound and visual processes by improvising dancer.Two identical visual targets moving across each other can be perceived either to bounce off or to stream through each other.
About MyungDuk-Kim
MyungDuk Kim (South Korea) creates Sounds Visual and performances. His artworks directly respond to the surrounding environment and uses everyday experiences from the artist as a starting point. Often these are framed instances that would go unnoticed in their original context. With a conceptual approach, he tries to develop forms that do not follow logical criteria, but are based only on subjective associations and formal parallels, which incite the viewer to make new personal associations. Recently he working on interaction Sounds with the movements of humans body/or objects. By doing so, new sequences are created which reveal an inseparable relationship between motion and sound. By choosing mainly formal solutions, he tries to approach a wide scale of subjects in a multi-layered way, likes to involve the viewer in a way that is sometimes physical and believes in the idea of function following form in a work. He studied the classical guitar performance and music Pedagogy at Fontys hogeschool voor de kunsten(Netherlands). Currently work and live in Berlin as composer,guitar teacher and constantly working on own internal creative projects that mainly specializing in interaction Visual with sound and music .
